Inside Raqqa, on the front line, inside the liberate part of the capital of the Islamic State where 1,000 Christian Syriac soldiers incorporated into the Syrian Democratic Forces alongside the Kurdish YPG and supported by the U.S.-led International coalition. These soldiers fight square by square and house by house to gain more perimeter with the only focus of saving lives and the aid of the international coalition air strikes.
While the panorama is horrible, reminiscing old WW2 documentaries where Raqqa has taken most of the beating, most of these soldiers are not Muslim and their focus is liberating as many people. On their last raid, they liberated seven Christian Armenians whom were living in sub-par conditions due to their religion and obliged to pay a fee to survive.
